Why This Exists

This website exists because I wanted to create a place to encourage people and show people that we are desperately in need of God's glorious Grace offered by Christ. If there is a mistake somewhere or you disagree, let's connect. I would love to dialogue about how this site can be improved.

The Great Commission

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Our mission in the Christian life is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Simple right? This verse is used by many to describe the purpose of the Christian life. I find it interesting that Jesus says "teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" There is so much more to the Gospel than just a five-minute tract. We have a responsibility to learn and study what Jesus' teachings and commands are. This goes so much further than the Gospel books (Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John). The rest of the New Testament is the story of the early church, how they understood the Gospel, how they lived their lives, and what obstacles did they face. The Old Testament is what helps us better understand the New Testament. It answers questions like, how did the world end up so broken, what is God's plan and purpose, and who is God. Everything in the biblical narrative points to the climax of Jesus
